The Craft Project is a research and documentation project conducted by Cocoa and Jasmine, an independent culture travel magazine. Through this project, the organisation wishes to document tangible anthropology i.e material culture of a place with a focus on textile crafts and comment on its relevance in the contemporary space. The exhibition will display the journeys taken from East to West of India including Kolkata, Maheshwar, Jaipur and Ahmedabad as well as a textile installation including weaves, prints and embroideries from different parts of India. We will be engaging in a dialogue to understand the relevance of craft documentation with industry experts.
