Là Fuori, Indian Craftsmanship for a Global Nomad

“Working towards our goals on Sustainability and our love for the environment, we envision ourselves working hands on with organic fabrics, dyes and elements to make this world a better place. We respect the divide between modern automation and irrefutable subtleties of hand-made precision. We aspire to stay true to our core values whilst focusing on the customer and the artisan in equal sense.”  says Vidur.

Foliage takes centre stage in this line. From endless tendrils of hand painted walls of the Samode Palace, to the intricate architecture that spiral around voluminous sustainable silhouettes to a dramatic revision of organic palette of fabrics that casts a spell on the designs. Drizzled crystal and gold hand embroidery accents the prints and petals

In today's times of indispensable need for women empowerment and gender equality, the label with its women employees, is marching steadily towards its endeavor to empower as many underprivileged women and artisans. The collection is a stylistic mélange of designs, perfect for any affair.

Là Fuori is a premium sustainable lifestyle brand born in New York in 2019, aiming at creating a community of "nomadic and creative hearts" committed to the enhancement, inclusion and safeguarding artisan cultures across the globe.

Founders Vidur Adlakha from India and Riccardo Benedini from Italy met in Shanghai and together followed their passion for organic fashion, architecture and textiles. Headquartered in New York, Là Fuori in Italian translates “Out There”, representing the opportunity to explore 360 degrees: an ode to travel, sustainability, textiles and highlighting the local crafts to the world.

Designing the finest quality handcrafted women's wear whilst protecting the age-old heritage crafts of India and empowering our country's artisans. Là Fuori's debut collection “Road to Barmer” brings together a complementary bouquet of Indian art that synthesizes comfort, luxury, craftsmanship, sustainability and design. Crafting its own long journey in the sustainable lifestyle space, this brand reiterates the beauty of slow living; the importance of naturally sourced produce over synthetically manufactured.

Amid the silhouettes and colors, what steers the collection is Sustainable inclusivity and spirit of the artisan community. Over the past 30 years, the number of Indian artisans has decreased by 30%, indicating the need to re-invest in artisans to safeguard history, culture and livelihood. Là Fuori pledges to support its women artisans. “The local craft community is the true protagonist of Là Fuori. We share 10% of our profits directly with the Artisan Communities with whom we collaborate in our path along with the salaries for the creation of our products.” says Riccardo.

The collection has a host of floaty, flirtatious ensembles for every fashion-forward woman out there. The soul of this brand lies in minimalism, naturalness and uniqueness of the products across categories. Slim lines take the modern millennial through festive evening soirees: fresh and bold cuts for brunch outfits: along with handmade travel accessories, scarves and eco friendly hand woven bamboo grass bags.

Là Fuori is available online (www.belafuori.com) and an atelier in Vicenza, Italy. Riccardo's association with Italy is deeply rooted to his being and Italy's fashion is the emblem of style and elegance. “Road to Barmer brings craft and culture of Indian heritage and Rajasthan's royalty, as a vision of expanding rich  Indian hand-crafters to the world. The brand aims to unite people through discovery and travel along with a promise to continue the use of sustainable techniques for the environment, giving back to rural traditions and their primacy in dealing with a topic that has become so important today for the sustainability and the future well-being of the environment.
